Housing Support Services
Homework Starts at Home
The Homework Starts with Home program is a partnership between Hennepin County, the YMCA of the North and Osseo Area Schools to help families find stable housing. If enrolled in the program, families will receive housing search support, partial rental assistance, and case management.
To be eligible for the program, families must:
- Have children enrolled in Osseo Area Schools.
- Families must qualify based on Hennepin county income guidelines.
- Reside in Hennepin County temporarily staying with others and at risk of losing housing
Because resources are limited, not all eligible families will be enrolled after completing the Hennepin county application. Enrollment is determined by a monthly random selection process.
