Get involved and make a difference at Osseo Area Schools. Many district-level advisory committees are looking for parent/caregiver volunteers who are interested in influencing the direction of the district’s instructional programs, enrollment/capacity, emergency management and financial matters.
American Indian Education Parent Advisory Committee
The American Indian Parent Advisory Committee (AIPAC) provides an important opportunity for families, students and community members to partner with our district in supporting American Indian students. AIPAC meets Sept. 25, Oct. 14, Nov. 18, Dec. 16, Jan. 20, Feb. 17, March 17, April 21 and May 19. For more information and to get involved, visit the website.
Community Education Program Advisory Council (CEPAC)
The Community Education Program Advisory Council (CEPAC) is seeking members to help guide and review the work that the community education department provides to our community! Please complete this form and someone will be in contact to share additional information and learn more about you. Meetings are held Sept. 11, Oct. 13, March 12 and June 11 from 5:15-6:45 p.m. this upcoming school year at the district office- 11200 93rd Ave N, Maple Grove MN 55369.
District Planning Advisory Council (DPAC)
The District Planning Advisory Council (DPAC) helps to shape the future of our students, families and community members by providing community-based input and feedback in planning for and evaluating existing instructional programs.Interested community members should apply here (in the membership tab).
District Technology Advisory Committee
The technology team is excited to form the District Technology Advisory Committee (DTAC) for the 2025-26 school year. DTAC’s mission is to provide critical input on the direction of technology within Osseo Area Schools to further the effective and equitable use of technology to support student learning and achievement. This committee gives families, staff, and students a chance to directly influence the future of technology in our schools. Enrollment and Capacity Management Advisory Committee (ECMAC)
The Enrollment and Capacity Management Advisory Committee (ECMAC) is a critical element of the planning and communication framework created by the Enrollment and Capacity Management Task Force in February 2016.
The purpose of the Enrollment and Capacity Management Advisory Committee is to analyze information affecting enrollment, capacity, and building use, and to generate observations and recommendations to be communicated to district administration.

FISCAL Advisory Team
The FISCAL (Financial Involvement School-Community Accountability Liaisons) advisory team helps shape the future for students, families and community members in Osseo Area Schools by providing community-based input and feedback on district financial matters. Members of this team have strong financial skills; FISCAL is also seeking multiple perspectives through the racial diversity and broad geographic representation of its members. In addition to reviewing financial data, the team advises the school district on economic issues. Interested community members should apply here.
LGBTQIA+ Advisory Committee
The LGBTQIA+ Advisory Committee was formed and is maintained to affirm item three in the LGBTQIA+ History and Culture Resolution: "Elevate the voices of LGBTQIA+ scholars and staff to help dismantle systemic barriers in our school district by establishing an LGBTQIA+ employee affinity group and establishing an LGBTQIA+ scholar/parent/caregiver/ally advisory group. This committee will advise our district administration and school board on structural barriers, inequities, and the lived experience of LGBTQIA+ scholars and their families." Radically Investing in Scholars Excellence (RISE)
The Radically Investing Scholars Excellence (RISE) Committee was formed as a direct result of Osseo Area School District’s resolution on George Floyd and systemic racism. Members serve as leaders and spokespersons, elevating the voices of our marginalized communities and combating the significant structural and racial inequities within the district. The committee will advocate for every BIPOC scholar, family and staff member to feel valued, safe and welcome in every district space. The committee will meet Sept. 25, Oct. 23, Nov. 20, Jan. 22, Feb. 26, March 12 and April 23.
Security and Emergency Management Advisory Committee (SEMAC)
The purpose of the Security and Emergency Management Advisory Committee (SEMAC) is to continuously improve and support the execution of the district’s Security and Emergency Management Plan in order to ensure a safe and healthy learning environment in Osseo Area Schools.The Security and Emergency Management Advisory Committee (SEMAC) consists of district-level staff, school-level staff, and community partners, such as parents/guardians, police officers and fire department representatives.
