Birch Grove School for the Arts hosts popular Family Art Night

Each fall, Birch Grove School for the Arts hosts a lively evening event where families can come to the school and explore a wide variety of engaging art activities and projects with their students. 

Some of this year’s Family Art Night activities included button making, sun catchers, karaoke, puppet party, zine making, a dance party and beaded jewelry. The popular Drums Alive group led visitors through an energetic drumming lesson with large playground balls serving as drums. 

Birch Grove Schools for the Arts is the district’s only magnet elementary school with a primary focus on arts education. The school offers programming and opportunities across the spectrum of the arts, including performance arts with music and theater to visual arts like painting, sculpture, photography and more.
