Building a Better Future: Summer 2026 update

This summer’s construction season promises to be a busy one across Osseo Area Schools. Here’s a rundown of what to expect for building improvements over the next few months:

Projects that will wrap up by the beginning of the 2026-27 school year:

  • Aspen Ridge Elementary
  • Fernbook Elementary
  • Edinbrook Elementary
  • Maple Grove Middle
  • Osseo Middle
  • Osseo Senior High

Improvements at existing sites will include new library media centers, flexible learning spaces, and outdoor classrooms along with final construction work to the new elementary school, Aspen Ridge.

A few projects will be ongoing through summer 2026 and beyond. That work will include:

  • Maple Grove Senior High
    • Completion of the three story classroom addition
    • Renovations of some existing classroom spaces
    • Completion of the cafeteria
    • Completion of locker room addition and renovations
    • Initial work for the main entry addition (to be completed in 2027)
  • Park Center Senior High: Classroom renovations on the first floor tower area
  • Former Crest View Elementary site: ongoing construction of the new building

New interior and exterior signage will also be installed at many locations over the summer, including the high schools and seven elementary schools, with the remaining locations being updated over the next year.

Planning for summer 2027 projects is mostly complete, with renovations scheduled for five elementary schools: Birch Grove, Elm Creek, Rice Lake, Weaver Lake and Zanewood.
