District Triple A winners announced

The Triple A Award (Academics, Arts and Athletics) is sponsored by the Minnesota State High School League and recognizes outstanding students who perform at a high level academically while also participating in athletics and the arts. 

Maple Grove Senior High School’s 2026 winners are Carolyn Leach and Ben Halberg. Leach participates in cross country, Nordic ski, track, Link Crew and orchestra. Halberg participates in soccer, track, orchestra, DECA, National Honor Society and the math team. 

Two Triple A Award winners

Osseo Senior High School’s 2026 winners are Myriam Akakpo and Logan Boekhoff. Akakpo has taken seven Advanced Placement classes and participated in volleyball, Business Professionals of America and orchestra as a section leader and a two-time Superior Rating recipient in solo and ensemble. Boekhoff has participated in three PSEO courses and band, where he is also a two-time Superior Rating recipient in solo and ensemble, marching band, pit orchestra, Grove Area Percussion, Nordic ski and the OSH Advanced Auto program. 

Two Triple A award winners

Park Center Senior High School’s 2026 winners are Jamison Adams and Gisele Vo. Adams is a decorated lacrosse athlete who is also active in many artistic pursuits like ceramics, photography, painting and wood technology. Vo participates in soccer, softball, track and field, musical theater, orchestra, choir, Model United Nationals and robotics.
