ECFE offers winter and spring classes through May for families with young children

Community Education’s Early Childhood Family Education (ECFE) program offers classes, programs and events for families in Osseo Area Schools with children birth to age 5. ECFE supports early learning, child development and parent education through play, connection and parent discussion time.

Classes are offered during the school year at Arbor View and Willow Lane Early Childhood Centers and during the summer. Enrollment is still open for winter and spring classes held through May at osseo.ce.eleyo.com

Some winter and spring class highlights:

New Infant Mini Sessions are two weeks long and feature topics and learning alongside a parent educator including infant communication, sleep foundations, postpartum wellness, infant play, building secure attachment, and dads and infants.

In addition, a new Parenting your Child with Special Needs online class connects parents/caregivers of children birth through third grade who are navigating raising children with developmental delays, disabilities or medical needs. Weekly sessions provide support, shared learning, community resources and valuable insights.

Saturdays with ECFE include themed classes for families with children birth to age 5, with fun activities such as babies and music, messy art, outdoor play and music and movement for infants and families.

While ECFE classes are offered on a sliding fee scale, no family will be turned away from participating due to inability to pay. For more information visit the program website, registration website or call 763-391-8777.
