Maple Grove and Osseo senior high schools celebrate homecoming week

Students and staff at Maple Grove and Osseo senior high schools celebrated homecoming week Sept. 29-Oct. 3.

At Maple Grove Senior High School, the theme for homecoming week was Hollywood. Students participated in themed dress-up days, including movie night, iconic duos or groups, Disney character day, twin day and class color day. On Friday, students attended a pepfest that featured various musical performances and dances by staff and students, a drumline, a class competition and the Crimson battlecry. To wrap up the pepfest, the class of 2026 was awarded the Crimson Cup, an award given out to a class at each pepfest.

Students and staff at Osseo Senior High School (OSH) got into the homecoming spirit with dress up themes including jersey day, dress to impress or unimpress day, Go Fish monochrome day, animal print vs. camo day and a OSH spirit day. At the pepfest on Friday, students cheered for their assistant principals and principal with their families, honored staff members who were alumni, celebrated their homecoming court and watched performances from cheerleaders, the dance team, the step team and Osseo’s Latinx club.
