Osseo Education Center students participate in SOFit program
Students at the Osseo Education Center (OEC) were recently visited by Special Olympics Minnesota to learn more about SOFit, their wellness program designed to help encourage better health, stronger relationships and lifelong well-being, keeping teams and community groups active and engaged. The SOFit program focuses on emotional, physical, nutritional and social health.
On Nov. 10, students learned about the SOFit program from representatives from Special Olympics Minnesota. They then participated in various physical activities that were made accessible to all students, including bowling, bean bag toss, an obstacle course and stretching. The OEC and Special Olympics Minnesota will continue their partnership to continue the work with students.
