Please complete one change of address enrollment form for each student. If you wish to change schools, please consult with a staff member at the Enrollment Center.

To update your or your student’s personal information such as address, contact information, and emergency contacts, you will need to submit an Online Verification and Family Update form through ParentVUE. A step-by-step guide through the process can be found Online. Please note that some changes may require documents to be submitted through this form or directly to the Enrollment Center before being accepted.

Enrollment Inquiries for Families Outside the U.S. - Families interested in enrolling in the Osseo Area Schools from outside the US should send an inquiry email with details to enrollmentcenter@district279.org. A staff member will respond with appropriate next steps and required forms, if applicable.

The McKinney-Vento Act provides homeless and highly mobile students with certain rights so they have access to opportunities that will help them meet the same high academic standards expected of all students in our district.

English Learner (EL) Program

The goal of English Learner (EL) instruction is to support English learners in achieving the English language proficiency needed to succeed academically and to realize personal, social, and career goals. EL teachers work in collaboration with both general education and specialist teachers to design a comprehensive instructional program for each student.

Homework Starts with Home

The Homework Starts with Home program is a partnership between Hennepin County, the YMCA of the North and Osseo Area Schools to help families find stable housing. If enrolled in the program, families will receive housing search support, partial rental assistance, and case management.

To be eligible for the program, families must:

Have children enrolled in Osseo Area Schools.
Families must qualify based on Hennepin county income guidelines.
Reside in Hennepin County temporarily staying with others and at risk of losing housing

Because resources are limited, not all eligible families will be enrolled after completing the Hennepin county application. Enrollment is determined by a monthly random selection process.
